Emerging Women is a weekly group led by Hope Nichols, LMFT that will offer information, support and connection for women as they transition through challenging times. The group focus is on empowerment, education, and healing within a supportive community that is guided by the clear principles of confidentiality, respect, and trust.

Topics will include:

 

·         The right to be me- Who am I now?

·         Uprooting and Re-rooting- The Transition–from limbo to building a bridge

·         Solo- A mid life choice- Overcoming fear

·         On Love- Loving –and Lovers- What works and what doesn’t work

·         Emerging- A process of change- The Vision–The Quest

Expressive Art Therapy for Girls, led by Hope Nichols, LMFT, offers children a creative environment where they can form supportive connections, manage stress and gain an overall sense of well-being. In this non-threatening therapeutic environment the universal language of art helps foster emotional resilience, behavioral changes, and a new capacity for self-reflection and growth.

Group members will learn to:

        •           Better manage stress, anxiety and moods

        •           Express themselves assertively and healthfully

        •           Increase their self-esteem

        •           Better manage peer relationships and develop social skills

        •           Cope with divorce or family changes

DIY Moms Make Chore Chart Event at My Gym in Lionville

The Ladies at My Gym in Lionville, loved the Chore Chart that we posted the other day so much that they are inviting you to come to My Gym and make your own. They are purchasing all of the supplies in bulk and will set up the space for you to work on your chart. I will be there to help too! Since they are purchasing all of the supplies, the cost is much less than I spent making mine. (I estimate mine to cost $40 each)

Interested? The cost for this workshop will be $15 for 25 chores (no board) and $30 for 25 chores with the board like the one I used in the photo above.

The day of the workshop is Thursday, August 8th from 7:00-9:00.
