Children’s Theatre at Longwood Gardens

July 16, 2010

A cast of puppets joins the People’s Light and Theatre Company for a fresh and mad-cap version of this classic story by Hans Christian Andersen.

In the Empire of Abalonia, two slapstick rogues scheme to loot the royal treasury by exploiting the obnoxious young Emperor’s passion for fashion. The production comes to life as Longwood’s majestic Chimes Tower becomes part of the action.

Fun enough for the whole family!
Best appreciated by ages 5 and up.
