Fascinating Look at Health in Chester County

I recently found this site and think there is some fascinating information to be found when you look at health statistics from different counties across the nation. What’s more fascinating to me, however, is comparing the information that is available for the 67 counties that make up Pennsylvania.
There are 2 large categories of rankings on this site: Health Outcomes and Health Factors. Health Outcomes represent how healthy a county is whereas Health Factors represent what influences health of a county.
Looking at these overall rankings for the state of Pennsylvania, I was very interested to see that Chester County is ranked #1 out of all of Pennsylvania’s 67 counties in both Health Outcomes and in Health Factors.
When you drill down to look at the Snapshot of Chester County’s health statistics, you see that we may be the “healthiest” county in the state, but some of those factors could still use improvement.
How do you feel about this report and what information do you think we can get out of these statistics?
