"Simply the Breast" Wants Your Help!

July 22, 2011

The Simply the Breast team is walking again this year, and we need the support of our community. The team is hosting a fundraiser at the Winner’s Circle in Exton on Sunday, July 24. The event is all day, so come for lunch, snacks, a game or two and/or dinner. Proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards our team fundraising goal of $25,000.

The 3 Day Walk is one of the country’s largest breast cancer awareness events. We will walk 60 miles over 3 days. That is 20 miles per day! Net proceeds from this event fund innovative global breast cancer research and local community programs supporting education, screening and treatment of breast cancer. Last year the walk took place in 15 cities and raised over $87 million. Virtually every major advance in the fight against breast cancer in the last 28 years has been impacted by a Susan G. Komen for the Cure® grant.

You can help support our team (comprised of local Moms) by simply eating a meal at the Winner’s Circle on July 24 and presenting the attached flyer to your server so that 20% of your food purchase will go towards are team fundraising goal for the 3 Day Walk.

Simple as that. No form to fill out, no web site to visit. The Winner’s Circle is open Sundays from 11:30am until Midnight. Sundays are great family days as they have games and giveaways all day.

Thanks for reading and we hope you make it to the Winners Circle on the 24th!
