Calling all LEGO Mini Figure Fans! 

Tomorrow (Saturday, July 20th) is Mini Figure Swap Day at Monkey Fish Toys in Lionville from 10:00am-1:00PM. This is a free event that meets towards the back of the store. My kids LOVE this event! I suggest arriving in the 10:00-11:00 hour to get the best selection of figures. The store owner swaps some really good ones. My daughter traded Santa for a Mermaid last event and my son traded a boring everyday guy for a fancy alien. He is on the look out for TMNT Raf – so if you have it, come on down to Monkey Fish to trade. We will be there!!

Hello Parents of Budding Engineers! Bricks 4 Kidz Summer Camp Schedule is below. They have 2 full day camps in association with TOTAL SOCCER. The rest are all half day camps. You may combine 2 half day camps. Camp registrations have begun.  All children will receive a free Camp T shirt,custom mini figure and Certificate upon completion. Creativity , problem solving, and teamwork are the focus of these fun and educational camps. Spaces are limited, so early sign-up is recommended.  None of the camps will have more than 20 kids. Our Robotics and movie making camps will have a maximum of 15 kids. All camps are open to kids 5+, unless otherwise specified. Remote Control Mania Ages 5+ Making it move is the name of the game at this exciting camp! Kids will love to see their creations in motion using LEGO wireless remote controls. Each day, campers will use fascinating and challenging LEGO components to create dynamic vehicles, inventions, machines and more. As they enjoy the fun of building, campers will understand the basic working principles of many ingenious devices that are part of our everyday lives. Movie making and Animation Ages 8+ Light, cameras, LEGO action! Use LEGO bricks to tell YOUR story, complete with music, special effects and all your favorite LEGOmini-figure characters! In this unique and creative camp, students will plan, script, stage, shoot, and produce their own mini-movie using Stop Motion Animation. Working as a team, students will use LEGO components to build the set and props, then shoot their movie using a camera. Teams will use movie-making software to add special effects, titles, credits and more. When the movie is complete, campers will impress friends and family with a screening party on the last day of camp.
