The Conversion of a Bra Skeptic.

A product review by “Anonna Miss”

I only buy expensive bras. I’m not snobby like that, but it’s always been my experience that price (unfortunately) equals quality in the world of underwire and elastic. Plus, I’m a full figured girl. For me finding the perfect bra is just as elusive as finding the perfect pair of jeans. Still, I was super excited when Montco Mom herself offered up two brand spankin’ new bras for my next bloggy assignment. I’d just stopped nursing my second child. To have an undergarment that didn’t snap open in the front was luxury enough…but free? Even better! I have to admit though, I was a bit disappointed when I heard the brand was Fruit of the Loom. How could a company famous for men’s underwear possibly understand the mechanics of a 38DD push up?

Enter the Fruit of the Loom Great Shape T-Shirt Bra. With underwire, molded cups and full coverage, it met all of my standard bra requirements, plus it was pretty cute to look at too. (Pictured above in H Grey)

I put it through the toughest bra obstacle course I could think of: housecleaning followed by the kids bath time. Everything stayed put! I did not experience any spillage or “four boob phenomenon.” There was no need to adjust. At the end of the day “the girls” remained perfectly lifted to the midway point between my shoulders and my elbows (just like Oprah taught me).

Frankly, this bra is magical!!! True to it’s name, it honestly was as soft and comfortable as a t-shirt! No chaffing or imprints in sight. A real feat for a girl like me who can’t even remember the last time I went to bed without red marks around my torso.

I also received the Fruit of the Loom Incredible Push-Up Bra. It was a 38D, so a bit too small for me to wear and review fairly. It was really cute though (pictured above in black) and was obviously of the same quality as the other bra! I was impressed with the hot pink lace detail and the silver charm embellishment. Inside the cups even had a fun pattern of hot pink hearts.

The price point for both of these bras is unbeatable. Marked at only $10.99 and $12.99 it kind of blows away my previous way of thinking!
