The Chester County Hospital has openings for subscribers to the Philips Lifeline Emergency Response System. This system provides seniors with the confidence they need to continue living safely in the comfort of their own home, and peace of mind to their families.
Lifeline subscribers wear a small, lightweight and waterproof personal help button on either a neck cord or wrist strap. By pressing this button, a call is placed to the emergency response center, where trained personnel are on duty 24-hours-a-day, 365-days-a-year. The response center has the ability to make voice contact with the subscriber through the Lifeline unit, without the need to answer the phone.
The Lifeline program is funded through support from The Women’s Auxiliary to The Chester County Hospital and The Men of The Chester County Hospital. Ongoing maintenance and operational costs are covered by the installation and monthly fees.
Subscribers pay $50 for installation of the Lifeline Home Unit and $30 per month for the service.
