Running for Kling is a 5K race being help on Saturday April 20th at 1:00 p.m. at Downingtown West High School, located in Downingtown.
The race is being held in support of Tracy (Kling) LaManna, daughter of Dr. James & Terry Kling. Tracy is a former teammate and graduate of Downingtown Senior High School (1998). She helped lead the girls’ basketball team to two consecutive PIAA State Championships before earning a college scholarship to play basketball at West Chester University. Tracy is a loving wife and mother of two young girls and is in a battle for her life. In 2011, while pregnant with her second child, Tracy was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and in late 2012 was also diagnosed with brain cancer. Tracy has been in and out of the hospital, while continuing to be a loving mom, wife, and friend to many.
