National Mom’s Nite Out!

In honor of Mothers Day, King of Prussia Mall is hosting its first annual Mom’s Nite Out event on Thursday 5/5/11 from 6-9pm throughout the Plaza and the Court.
King of Prussia is partnering with non-profit organization, Dress for Success, to create awareness and give back to the local community.
Dress for Success is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help them thrive in work and in life. Their mission is employment retention, providing women with the tools they need to remain employed.
In an effort to help those less fortunate and promote women to returning to the workforce, the King of Prussia Mall will partner with Dress for Success in hosting a spring clothing drive. During ten days of the Mother’s Day shopping season (4/29/11 – 5/8/11) participants will be asked to bring their gently worn apparel items, shoes and/or accessories to specified drop-off locations within the Mall (any of the three Guest Service locations).
Shoppers who donate an item to Dress for Success from 4/29/11-5/5/11 will receive a voucher to pick up their free King of Prussia Mall VIP bag during Mom’s Nite Out from 6-9pm on Thursday 5/5/11. Donations to Dress for Success can be made at any of the three Guest Service locations throughout the Plaza and the Court, or at the Dress for Success table in the Plaza* (*on the night of the event). (Shoppers who wish to donate after Mom’s Night Out (5/6/11-5/8/11) will receive a King of Prussia Mall tote bag.) Pick up location for the VIP Mom’s Nite Out bag will be at the Dress for Success table between 6-9pm on Thursday 5/5/11.
Shoppers who do not wish to donate an item to Dress for Success, but still want to participate in Mom’s Night Out festivities, can register to receive a Mom’s Nite Out wristband at any of the three Guest Service centers to take advantage of all of the great in-store Mom’s Nite Out promotions, and gain access to the exclusive MNO lounges throughout the Plaza and Court. Shoppers can show their wristband at participating retailers to let them know they are here for Mom’s Night Out to receive special treatment.
MNO lounges will include: • Wine, cheese and desserts from Chaddsford Winery, The Radisson Hotel, and Seasons 52 • Chair Massages • Hand massages and mini-manicures • Tiffany Hill and Buzzbee, and Music, Karaoke, and Plinko from B101 • Yoga and Dance demonstrations • Cooking demonstrations • Register to win over $2,500 in prizes from participating retailers, sponsors, and a $500 King of Prussia Mall gift card!
