The Bacon Brothers actor Kevin Bacon and composer Michael Bacon, with their band will perform October 10 at 8
p.m. at the Colonial Theatre, 227 Bridge St., Phoenixville, Pa., in their third annual Concert for Culture and Conservation to benefit the French and Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust and Association for the Colonial Theatre.
Tickets, at $75 and $50, may be purchased online at
http://www.thecolonialtheatre.com/. Sponsorship opportunities begin at $750, and include reserved seating, pre– and post-concert events, and reserved parking. The Bacons will attend the post-concert party and sponsors may have photos taken with them. Tickets to a late afternoon sound check, including an opportunity for photos with The Bacon Brothers, and reserved seating at the evening concert are $250.
Actor Kevin, who has starred in more than 40 films, and brother Michael, a composer for TV and film, grew up in Philadelphia and spent summers at their grandparent¹s home in East Pikeland Township, Pa., on land conserved by the French and Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust. They have been performing together for 15 years, with the same backup band, and write much of their own material. Both are vocalists and are proficient on a range of instruments.
