Monkeyfish Toys comes to Exton

March 18, 2013
264 Eagleview Boulevard, Exton, PA

Monkeyfish Toys is open for business!  Despite the new name, new location, and new toys, they haven’t lost the great service that only a small business can offer.  The toy store has moved to the Shops at Eagleview Boulevard in Exton and changed their name from Bull Market Toys in the process.  The bigger and better location is not far from Target and Wendy’s off of Route 100.  I had the pleasure of checking out their new store, and it was an experience from the minute I walked in the door.

The storefront is deceiving.  I didn’t realize how big the new location was until I got inside!  I was greeted by wall to wall toys and tiny shopping carts located right up front for the smallest shoppers to use.  The toys are organized into categories, so it would be an easy trip if you had something specific in mind.  I didn’t have anything in particular I was looking for on my trip, so I browsed each section.  I was really impressed by how many Eco-friendly toys were displayed.  There were many brands I had never heard of like Apple Park and Eco-kids.  They also feature popular toy brands like Melissa and Doug (my favorite), Lego, and Playmobil.

Monkeyfish goes above and beyond a typical toy store with their Party Room.  Isn’t it every kids’ dream to have a birthday party in a toy store?  Monkeyfish Toys makes it happen.  They have 3 party packages to choose from to accommodate every budget.  Your child picks the theme for the party and the awesome staff take care of the rest.  Themes include Lego, Crafts, Dress-Up, Pirate, and more.  The coolest part is that your child can create a wish list within the store.  Party-goers can stop in to Monkeyfish ahead of time to purchase a gift, wrap it on the spot at the wrapping station, and leave it there so it can be brought out at party time.  I can’t think of a more convenient way for your guests to shop!

The layout of the store is very kid friendly.  Kids can choose from a train table or a Lego table to entertain themselves if the shopping gets to be too much.  There is also a lounge area in the middle of the store with a couch and TV.  The staff members are really helpful and want to make your shopping experience a good one.  In fact, they go so above and beyond that there is a Coffee Bar for moms and dads!  Trust me, you’re going to need the energy to be able to check out all they have to offer.

You can get more information about Monkeyfish Toys on their Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/MonkeyFishToys or by stopping into their new store in Exton.
