CCSPCA Pet of the Week ~ Meet Winona!

September 2, 2011

Winona is a spayed female domestic short hair adult cat that is currently available for adoption at the Chester County SPCA. She was brought to the shelter as a stray in May. Winona had been on her finder’s property having kittens for a few years before they decided to bring her here for a better life. Winona is a very sweet cat who loves attention and is a well rounded cat that is just looking for someone to love. When you walk by Winona’s cage you must stop and say hello because she loves to talk to you. Winona is eligible for our Eagles Purrfect Play for Cats adoption incentive program. This special program, made possible through a gift from the Philadelphia Eagles Treating Animals With Kindness (TAWK) program, allows us to offer a discounted adoption fee of only $25! If you are able to provide Winona a home, visit the Chester County SPCA at 1212 Phoenixville Pike in West Goshen or call 610-692-6113. Winona’s registration number is 96804032.

Pernell is a 6-year-old spayed female Jack Russell Terrier that is available for adoption through the Chester County SPCA. Pernell was brought to the shelter in October because her previous owners were no longer able to keep her. A week after arriving at the shelter, Pernell gave birth to two puppies. She went right to work taking care of her puppies until they were old enough to be adopted into loving homes. Now Pernell is by herself again and hoping to find a loving home of her own. Pernell previously lived outside, so she is looking for a home where she can receive the training she deserves. If you are able to provide Pernell a loving home, visit the Chester County SPCA at 1212 Phoenixville Pike in West Goshen or call 610-692-6113. Pernell’s registration number is 96801595. Meet Icee – The Chester County SPCA Pet of The Week

October 23, 2010

Icee is an adult neutered male spitz, collie mix that is available for adoption through the Chester County SPCA. He came to the shelter as a stray on August 5. Since Icee is a stray we are estimating his age to be between 7-9 years old. Icee is a very sweet guy who is a little shy at first but if you give him a minute he warms up very quickly to you. He loves human interaction and should be ok with older children and cats. Icee is now looking for a responsible care giver who will give him the love and attention he deserves.

If you are able to provide that home, visit the Chester County SPCA at 1212 Phoenixville Pike in West Goshen or call 610-692-6113. Icee’s registration number is 96800648. To look at some of the other animals available for adoption, visit the shelter or log onto http://www.ccspca.org/.

Meet Mark Anthony… Chester County SPCA’s Pet of the Week

September 15, 2010

Mark Anthony is a ten year old neutered male Lhasa Apso that is available for adoption through the Chester County SPCA. He came to the shelter as part of a humane investigation. Mark Anthony was then adopted, but came back because his owners did not realize that their job and kids in school would be too much to with a new dog to manage. While Mark Anthony was in their care they found out that he was a quick learner. They were able to housebreak him and teach him other manners in about a week.
He is a very sweet dog that gets along with children and other dogs. Mark Anthony is now looking for a responsible care giver who will give him the love and attention he deserves.
If you are able to provide that home, visit the Chester County SPCA at 1212 Phoenixville Pike in West Goshen or call 610-692-6113. Mark Anthony’s registration number is 96801156. To look at some of the other animals available for adoption, visit the shelter or log onto http://www.ccspca.org.
