Down Syndrome Awareness Day at The Philadelphia Zoo

September 17, 2010

The T21 Club of the Delaware Valley which is the regional affiliate of The National Down Syndrome Society, is hosting Down Syndrome Awareness Day at The Philadelphia Zoo. Join them on their mission to support the awareness and inclusion of people with Down syndrome living in the region.

The event will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2010. There are fun activities planned, such as free face painting and games between the hours of 11am-3pm. Families and supporters will have access to the zoo for the day for the discounted rate of $14 per person (cash or personal check).

The diversity of individuals in our society enriches the lives of people in every community. We can demonstrate this on a large scale by engaging communities in events and activities that expose them to human diversity in ways that are both fun and fulfilling.

Net proceeds will benefit The T21 Club of the Delaware Valley. For more information about the event or the T21 Club of the Delaware Valley, please contact Jennifer Bonawitz at (215) 990-8730 or t21club@comcast.net. Or visit http://www.t21clubofthedelawarevalley.org.
