Exton Square Mall opens its doors to the spookiest, most terrifying and heartwarmingly adorable costumes kids can dream up, as the mall hosts its annual Malloween, a Halloween celebration. Children are invited to put on their costumes and walk with their parents from store-to-store rather than door-to-door and trick-or-treat on Thursday, October 28 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Mall merchants displaying pumpkin cutouts on their store fronts will be positioned at their store fronts ready to pass out delicious treats. In addition, Exton Square Mall will be giving away Halloween bags and candy to children on the Lower Level, near Customer Service. All goodies are available while supplies last. To complete the spooktacular festivities, there will be roaming Halloween characters including Frankenstein, a Vampire and a Scarecrow! For more information visit http://www.extonsquare.com.

Crazy 8 is coming to Exton!

With tiered ruffled skirts, plaid flannel shirts, sweater dresses, skinny jeans and more at great values for tweens, toddlers and even newborns, Crazy 8 is the ideal shopping experience for parents and kids, and it’s set to open at Exton Square Mall in November 2010.

Crazy 8 is The Gymboree Corporation’s fashion-forward children’s line and the company’s fastest growing brand with trend-right, affordable clothing and accessories for girls and boys sizes 0 to 14. Crazy 8 will be located on the mall’s Upper Level near the Food Court.

Are you an Eagles fan? Do you enjoy helping a fellow neighbor in need? Well, this fall you have the opportunity to support both causes, as Exton Square Mall is continuing its long-standing partnership with Chester County Food Bank in the fight against hunger.

Now through September 16, drop off nonperishable items at Customer Service, located on the Lower Level near Lenscrafters, and enter to win one of two items signed by Philadelphia Eagles or a $50 Mall Gift Card. (One entry form per food item received.) From cereal and juice boxes, to spaghetti sauce and canned meats, all donations will help feed Chester County families in need.

Then, on Thursday, September 16 at North Court, located on the Upper Level near the GAP stores, from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., area residents are invited to celebrate the Philadelphia Eagles with the beloved Eagles mascot SWOOP, the Eagles Mobile Fan Zone – a unique Arcade on Wheels— and the Eagles Pep Band, the most widely recognized band in the Delaware Valley that has energized Philly fans for 15 years. Also, SWOOP will be available for photos and autographs, and at 7:45 p.m., SWOOP will randomly select the winners of the autographed items and mall gift card.

Exton Square Mall Summer Food Drive to benefit the Chester County Food Bank
Monday July 12 – August 29, 2010.

Summer is here and kids are home from school. Some of them are out having fun, some of them are hungry. Hunger can be hard to see in Chester County….but it is there!

Right now 1 in 10 people are skipping meals due to lack of food, and that is why we are holding a SUMMER FOOD DRIVE. Our children who receive school breakfast and lunches are not eating well this summer. YOU CAN HELP. JOIN EXTON SQUARE MALL AND THE CHESTER COUNTY FOOD BANK, as we gather lunch items for kids to help the 40,000 households in Chester County that do not have enough food.

The Goal: To bring an impressive amount of food to feed children and their families in our area who are in need this summer.

Donation Location: Food Donation Bins will be located at the Customer Service Center, in the lower level of the mall near LensCrafters.

Nursing Appreciation Events at Exton Square Mall

Tribute to Nurses

Do you know a nurse who goes above and beyond to help patients and provide exceptional care? Is your family member, friend, coworker, care provider, or school nurse an inspirational, talented nursing professional? If so, the Exton Square Mall wants to hear about it!

1. From May 1st – May 31st you may stop by Customer Service (Lower Level near Lenscrafters) to nominate a nursing professional in your life. To Nominate a Nurse, submit an 8.5 x 11″ sheet including a photo and/or drawing and a brief written description of the nurse, where he or she works and why they are recognizing that individual. Those nominating nurses must also complete an entry blank to enter their nominees into a random drawing for a $100.00 Exton Square Mall gift card.

2. Join Exton Square Mall as we host Nurses Appreciation Day to honor and pamper area nursing professionals. The event takes place on Thursday, May 13 from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m (across from Nestle Toll House Cafe’ near Food Court) and features live music, exclusive gift with purchases, coupons, and complimentary flowers (while supplies last) Attendees must show hospital or nurses identification.

Introducing The Bunny Fast Pass at The Exton Square Mall

Getting my children ready for photos with Santa and the Easter Bunny is one of the most stressful things. I always worry that they won’t be able to stay “happy”, completely dressed and most importantly…CLEAN, before the photo is snapped? Well, the folks at the Exton Square Mall and Cherry Hill Photo must be on the same wave length with me (an hundreds of other moms in Chester County) and have come up with a simple solution to eliminate waiting in line for a photo with the Easter Bunny.

By purchasing a Bunny Fast Pass you will be able to bypass the regular line and hop on to the faster VIP entrance line. Now THAT is my kind of VIP line! Thank ya’ Easter Bunny!

The Easter Bunny will be at The Exton Square Mall (upper level, in front of Gap)
Monday-Saturday: 10am-8pm with carrot breaks from 1pm-2pm and 5pm-6pm and Sundays: 11am-6pm with a carrot break from 2pm-3pm.
