Trick or TREAT – FiOS Has A Huge 3D Treat Waiting For You

It’s hard to believe that we are nearly halfway through October. As the leaves are changing, the air is getting crisper and school buses continue to roll on. With Halloween around the corner, parents everywhere are planning their children’s costumes, stocking up on candy and getting chills thinking about that awesome haunted house down the street – but nothing gives a parent chills like cheering for their child from the sidelines and watching the ball hit the back of the net for the game-winning goal!

Since September, Verizon FiOS has chosen 5 local winners for the FiOS Play of the Week contest on Verizon.com/FiosPlayoftheWeek. So far, 3 out of 4 winners reigned from Pennsylvania – Shavertown, Swarthmore, and Mechanicsburg. Now, our area needs to come forward with the best of the best videos and finish off this contest strong! We already know that the Philadelphia suburbs have the most talented kids, and now is our time to prove it. Keep those video cameras rolling this week and make sure to grab a great 30-second clip of your child scoring a goal, showing off their fancy footwork or just being plain amazing at a game!

When you snag a great video of your talented kid and upload it to Verizon.com/FiosPlayoftheWeek, you have the chance to win a ton of cool swag! Each winner receives an authentic Philadelphia Union jersey autographed by Forward Danny Mwanga and has their video posted to the Philadelphia Union website, Facebook and Twitter, to the Verizon FiOS Facebook and Twitter, as well as to the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association’s (EPYSA) website. After all 10 winners (yep, you still have 5 chances to win) are selected, a Grand Prize Winner will be chosen on November 19 and that lone shining soccer star will receive a 55″ 3D TV! How sweet is that??
