Educator Open House at Cherry Crest Adventure Farm and Strasburg Railroad

Cherry Crest Adventure Farm & the Strasburg Rail Road Invite all public and private school educators to our EDUCATOR OPEN HOUSE on July 29th and 30th!

Cherry Crest Adventure Farm & the Strasburg Rail Road would like to show our appreciation to teachers in public and private schools by offering complimentary one-day passes to both properties for the educator on Thursday, July 29 & Friday, July 30. For a printable flyer, please click here In addition to the complimentary admission, the PA Farm Bureau’s Mobile Ag Education Science lab will be on hand to show teachers how they can bring agricultural education right to their school. Teachers can participate in hands on demonstrations throughout the day. Teachers will receive a goodie bag from Strasburg area attractions (while supplies last) and can also register to win lots of fun prizes, such as a class field trip to Cherry Crest Adventure Farm, tickets to the PA Renaissance Faire, gift certificates for local restaurants and other fun prizes. Information will be on hand for teacher’s to learn about unique, educational field trip opportunities. Pre-registration will be required. Spaces may be limited. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER NOW!! To receive the complimentary passes simply complete the online registration form. Then arrive at the farm on your selected date and show a school ID or a recent school pay stub to provide proof of employment. Tickets for both attractions will be made available at Cherry Crest Adventure Farm. Visit our welcome table to receive a goodie bag (while supplies last) and register to win fun prizes. The complimentary tickets WILL NOT be available at the Railroad Station. Friends & family members are welcome to attend the event along with the educator, simply purchase additional tickets upon arrival. Both properties are open to the public on these dates. Upon registration each teacher will receive a complimentary ticket to come back to Cherry Crest Adventure Farm at a later date and a ticket for the Strasburg Rail Road. Trains will run according to schedule. Educators can also view the PA Farm Bureau’s Mobile Ag Education Science Lab at Cherry Crest Adventure Farm.
